Greetings and a warm welcome to the website of St. George Malankara Orthodox Church of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Our church falls under the Diocese of South & West America and is part of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, under the Catholicate of the East, being the successor of the Apostolic throne of St. Thomas, at Devalokam in Kottayam, Kerala, India. Here in Vancouver, BC we are blessed with a small, but active and close-knit community, which, with the guidance of the Lord and the tireless efforts of its stewards, offer the faithful the opportunity to learn and grow in the Orthodox Christian way of life.

We celebrate the Holy Qurbana (followed by Sunday School) every Sunday at 3:30pm at the St. Micheals’ Anglican Church at 12996 60th Avenue, Surrey, BC. We also organize Prayer Meetings, and get-togethers of the Martha Mariam Vanitha Samajam and Orthodox Christian Youth Movement at the residences of our Members, in addition to celebrating cultural and religious occasions.
